Patricia Abrego Ruíz (she/her) is an artist and art historian from Queens, New York. Her work, primarily in acrylic paints and mixed-media collages, is deeply influenced by her personal health struggles, Colombian-Salvadoran heritage, and her home borough. Through introspective exploration, Patricia delves into themes of identity, emotion, and self-discovery.
A graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Fine Arts and Art History from Hunter College. Her work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum and the Noguchi Museum in New York City.
